Garden ants trailing through kitchens and pharaoh ants in heated buildings are common West Yorkshire pests. We treat the nest, not just the trail, for lasting control.
Signs to look for
- Trails of ants along skirtings, window frames and worktops
- Sandy piles of soil in paving cracks or lawns (nest entrances)
- Ants emerging near sugar, pet food and bin areas
- Winged ants indoors in late summer
The risks
- Food contamination in kitchens and food businesses
- Pharaoh ants spreading between rooms via heating ducts
- Nuisance infestations that recur without nest treatment
Our treatment
- Identification of species and nest locations
- Gel baiting that worker ants carry back to the colony
- Residual spray to perimeter and entry points
- Nest treatment outdoors where required
Prevention
- Clean up spills and store food in sealed containers
- Seal cracks around windows, doors and paving
- Trim vegetation back from exterior walls
- Address damp issues that attract ants

What our customers say about us
Great and professional service. The gentleman was very experienced and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to get rid of wasp infestation from a place that was difficult to reach. Would highly recommend.
Great service, came to the house as soon as the weather conditions were favourable for proper extermination. Dealt with a hornets nest in the middle of the lawn. Came again two days later after we found another nest in the wall of the house! Highly recommended.
Did a fantastic job with a wasps nest near the roof. Really friendly and knowledgeable. Talked me through the process and even added some wasp trivia. Would highly recommend
Excellent service. Arrived within a few hours of first contact and dealt with with our hidden (roof eaves) wasp nest extremely professionally (fully suited etc.). By the next day not a sign of any wasps :-)
Highly recommended! Had a wasp nest that we'd tried to remove ourself with zero success! Saw that Big Five Pest control had good reviews so made the call and they attended the following day. Prompt and friendly service with excellent results.... easy to award 5 stars!
